New Telecommunication / Radio Coverage System for the Greek Railways
GSMR Project

Diakar S.A. undertook in May 2007 the design of electrical plans and the installation of terminal cab radios for the new communication network GSMR of Greek Railways. Diakar S.A. also undertook a three year contract for maintenance and technical support (2010 - 2013) for this new system of communications.

This telecommunication system is the base of operation for the implementation of the ETCS system that runs throughout the European rail network. This is an innovative system that sets new horizons for the operation of the Greek Railways.
